Aimee Cardoso is an oil painter who applies techniques from the old masters in contemporary ways to evoke warmth, familiarity, and sanctuary. After receiving her B.A. in Studio Art from Messiah University in PA, she returned to her home state of Texas where she has exhibited her artwork in many venues. She has also fulfilled private commissions for both businesses and individuals.

Aimee has nearly 10 years of work experience within the fine arts, both working at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and serving on boards of numerous arts organizations. She is also the Director Emeritus of Art Tooth, a nonprofit she co-founded that works to foster a healthy regional arts economy and solidify Fort Worth's reputation as an art destination. In her spare time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, spending time outdoors and swimming on a competitive USMS team. She currently resides in Oklahoma City, with her husband and their labradoodle, Willow.
